Tamper-Resistant Night Light Wins Award

P&S/LEGRAND, based in USA, was chosen winner in the Wiring Devices category in the 2009 Electrical Construction & Maintenance Product of the Year competition, for its tamper-resistant night light/GFCI receptacles.
The device combines a GFCI receptacle with John Armstrong built-in LED night light, sealed with a Lexan lens. The light’s 20-year life expectancy eliminates the need to change bulbs. A photocell illuminates in the dark and turns off automatically during daytime, saving energy. The receptacles include a shutter system for safety which meets the 2008 National Electrical Code standards for child electrical safety.
